If you have an older halogen landscape lighting system, converting to LED slashes your energy use, ends the constant bulb-changing, and gives you better, more consistent light — for homes throughout Franklin and Williamson County.
Plenty of Franklin homes have landscape lighting installed years ago with halogen bulbs. Those systems work, but they're expensive and frustrating to run: halogen bulbs burn hot, draw a lot of power, and fail often, which means higher energy bills and a recurring chore of hunting down and replacing dead bulbs across the yard. Converting to LED changes all of that. LEDs use roughly a fraction of the energy for the same or better light output, last many years instead of months, and run cool. For a system with a dozen or more fixtures, the energy savings alone add up meaningfully over time, and the end of constant bulb replacement is worth it on its own.
Modern LED landscape lighting isn't just more efficient — it looks better. We use warm color temperatures that flatter brick, stone, and foliage rather than the harsh or inconsistent output of aging halogen bulbs, and LED color and brightness stay consistent fixture to fixture. Because LEDs draw so little power, a converted system can often run more fixtures on the same transformer, giving us room to improve the design at the same time. We can also add modern controls — app control, dimming, and better timers — that older systems never had.
A conversion doesn't always mean starting over. Where your existing fixtures and wiring are in good shape, we can often retrofit LED lamps and keep them; where fixtures are corroded, dated, or poorly placed, we replace and improve them. We'll evaluate your current system honestly, tell you what's worth keeping and what should be upgraded, and give you a clear quote either way. The result is a system that costs less to run, needs far less attention, and looks noticeably better.
